In addition, their size makes it easy to carry them around anywhere without fear of calling others' attention (robbers and such).
Next we heard from Beverly. As some of us are somewhat on the "technologically challenged" side, she kindly took us through the process of blogging: making entries, writing a comment, responding, and such. If you're reading this, you are already ahead of the game. So maybe you can add to this blog!!!
Finally, Daniela took us through our website so as to familiarize us with its various features,
especially using the student resources as well as uploading resources for the teachers' corner. As it turns out, there were a couple of glitches to do so. Therefore, Daniela and Heidi are looking into getting them fixed so that we can all enjoy its benefits. It's important that we go back constantly to see what we can use and what we can contribute.

For those of you who couldn't make it, we missed you! If there are any questions about blogging (I know I'm still getting the hang of this!), maybe Beverly can give us a hand. And if there are any questions about using the ESP website, Daniela is the one to reach out to.
Remember we also have the Facebook group, where we can also post entries, comments or pictures.
Take care all!!!

Wow we really did do a lot. Most of all thanks to those of you who have ventured more into technology sharing your webbing, blogging, wiki-ing skills and giving us all the push we need to experiment with new technology.
Thought I'd share Bev's feedback on using the flip camera ...."BTW, I love that Flip camera. Sebastian needed to practice a mini speech he's giving tomorrow and I was able to record him, pop it into his computer, give feedback and tape him again. This way he could immediately incorporate the feedback and see how it turned out. It's unbelievably easy to use! Ok, I have to admit that I also changed the feet to match my outfit...better you hear it from me than from my students. :)".
So have fun using our new toy!
Thanks Ana Cristina for the meeting update. It will help keep those who couldn't attend in the loop. I will try out my Flip camera skills for the first time with Catalina when we tape LucĂa next week. Will let you all know how a true novato does.
STATE OF THE ART PHOTOGRAPHY
Just had to share this state-of-the-art photography of Chaco Martinez. He specializes in panoramic and spherical photography and just got back from Chirripo. This should inspire those who have not gone but have it on their MUST list (right Bev?) and remind those of us who have of the incredible beauty there.

ENJOY this breathtaking visual tour!
Great post, Ana Cristina!
Sherry and I used the Flip to tape our group the other day, and we reviewed the video on the TV. All was great except that I don't think there's a pause function in this case? Probably better to review for feedback on a PC.
p.s. I have two pairs of green feet...looking for the person with two pairs of pink for trade. :)
